Queen Ifrica - Fyah Muma

The reigning Rasta empress, Queen Ifrica's debut album is a must for your collection. 22 songs of pure niceness include her big hits, and some new songs we are just hearing for the first time.

"Below The Waist", the boom lovers tune is here, "Need Love" runs the binghi romance vibes, and her reminder that "When Love" comes knocking you must be ready.  Riding the Lava Ground riddim on "Randy", she reminisces over her man who chose the gun over love.

"Sensimina" and "Bun Some Herbs" are big big ganja tunes that will never get old and that all herbs lovers will fulljoy.

Big culture tunes like  "Lengthen My Days", "Natty Fi Grow", "Black People", "Genocide" keep Rome shaking and trembling.  The title tune "Fyah Muma" is an update to the classic Peter Tosh 'Downpresser Man' in a new millenium style.

Etana - The Strong One album (VP Records)

Taking over the reggae scene since her breakout hit "ROOTS" bust on the scene in 2007, Etana is the rising female artist to watch out for.

"The Strong One" is an instant classic album, with a great mix of new tunes, and the singles that have been running the roots scene for the last year.  Tunes to watch out are the current chart toppers "Warrior Love" and "I Am Not Afraid", the lovers anthem with guest Alborosie called "Blessing", a reminder to listen to the call of the Allmighty "Jah Chariot", and reality tune "Caltariba System".

Haile recommended.
